2011 Marzocchi Corsa Super Leggera
Marzocchi announces for 2011 a complete redesign of it's Corsa Super Leggera race fork.
At 1490 grams and priced at £569 it's placed squarely to go head to head with RockShox's SID Race. Offering rebound adjust, compression adjust, compression threshold adjust and lockout, it has all the race fork bells and whistles you'd expect.
Marzocchi's new air system promises to "out-perform all other air systems on the market" and offers "coil-alike plushness". It's a low-pressure system which has been designed to keep the seals sliding smoothly avoiding friction on the stanchions. Weight has also been reduced due to less oil being needed in the complete system.
Most intriguing is the 3 year warranty with no servicing requirements. With this being one of our biggest complaints about modern suspension forks, if the Corsa proves reliable, this fit and forget service interval could be a real game changer!
Spec:
- 1480 grams light
- TST Micro Damper with lock out
- New low pressure AER system that’s reliable and easy to adjust
- Remote control bar mount
- 80mm or 100mm travel adjustable via internal spacer
- Nickel alloy 32mm stanchions
- New optimised Magnesium lower, light and stiff with 9mm drop out.
The Corsa Super Leggera comes in Ltd Ed. Race Red and White. Warranty is for 3 years with no service requirements. It's priced at £569.95 and is available from July 2010.
