Bags of determination, the courage of a lion, and lightning quick reactions… you’ll need them all to play the new Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport Freestyle iPhone app.

Developed in partnership with mountain bike trials legend Martyn Ashton, the exciting Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport Freestyle app is available as a free game download from the App Store on 17th June 2011.

The app combines three individual addictive games that focus on the key attributes required of any mountain biker. But you don’t have to ride in real life to play – all you need is a competitive spirit and the love of a challenge.

Whether you want to beat your own previous best score, take on your friends, or prove yourself the best of the best by topping the global leader board, just ‘saddle up’ and give it a go.

If balance is your strong point then ‘Determination’ is the game for you – tilt the iPhone to keep the bike stable on a narrow beam but beware, the wind could blow you off course…

‘Courage’ is all about judging the power required to jump between platforms on the back wheel of your bike – the more platforms you chalk up and the safer your landings, the more points you score, but you’ll need to avoid the ‘nasty’ platforms as the task gets more difficult…

To be the best you need to be able to brake at the right time, not too early and not too late – ‘Reactions’ challenges you to stop the spoke in an ever-diminishing segment, and gather more points as it speeds up. Are you sharp enough?
